“The room was compact, clean, had a small TV & coffee making facilities, there is a lounge area & kitchen on the same floor that we were on, although we didn’t use it I can see that would be useful, but beware if your not too mobile, there are a lot of steep stairs, also pub below is open till 12 and we did encounter a lot of noise on Sunday night, so if you’re to bed early, be warned. Bed was comfy and has a nice big shower in bathroom. ”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. “Its quite a unique place and very quiet and refreshing. Its an old property but looked after. The rose garden is stunning and a lovey old orchard to walk around in the grounds as well. The few people I met were lovely and very helpful and friendly. ”
