“Great place for a summer vacation. No issues during my stay.”

“I loved this property so much! Quaint and beautiful. It felt like I was in a countryside cabin. So many beautiful features. “Sandwiched between Willoughby Bay and Willoughby Beach, this small 2-room unit offers a humble stay in an amazing location featuring many nearby locations including Virginia Beach and Jamestown (highly recommended). Just across the main street is a lovely, low-key beach with many artificial rock formations, creating multiple small bays that maintain warmer water. “My daughter and I stayed for three nights for her basketball tournament. It was more spacious and quieter than the busy hotels and convenient to everything in Newport News and a quick 10-min ride to Hampton. “The property sits by an old ran down house and apartment building that is abandoned. Also, I wasn’t informed that there were people above us and they had another dog and I brought my service dog and wasn’t informed he would have to share a yard. We had to leave the property! “Issues with damp linens, uneven floors, and unpleasant shower, but the parking situation was horrible. Lastly, and most critically, the parking situation is not ideal and was not explained thoroughly enough. After our first entry to the parking pad, we made a multi-point turn to get out of the residence, since we didn't see any way to pull around, and turned left from the pad into the alleyway. “The cottage was much worse than the photos. The online photos are of more expensive or updated suites or are taken to deceive. The beds are excellent. The two units we saw are otherwise very dated. Clean but in need of replacement except the beds. The internet is not wired, so it's slow, drops often and has no security. The TV is so old you can't stream or connect HDMI, so it's just commercial cable, and it doesn't swivel. Not the end of the world, but in a resort room in the evening it's crazy……

“The staff was super friendly and helpful! The camp had allot to off the kids and plenty of room to roam around. If you need supplies there are stores within a 6 minute drive. We all had a good time.”
