“The cottage is a treasure and the island is beautiful. Wonderful views of herons and other wildlife always outside the back windows! Our family of six (including four teenage boys) stayed comfortably at the house. It felt like borrowing a friend's well-stocked vacation home. Plenty of kitchen gear and dishes for cooking (which we used several nights). Things to consider: to access the Gloucester Point area, you must cross a draw bridge. It is a cool bridge to cross, but every time you go into……

“Wonderful communication with property owner, comfortable beds and amenities like a welcome basket with snacks/bottle water/juice was an added bonus. Very clean throughout and easy to follow check-in and out instructions. Only minor complaint is that the air conditioner for the upstairs room was off upon arrival, so the room was quite hot when we arrived near 8pm at night. Would definitely stay again as we were close walk to the beach and local food spots. ”

“The cottage was in the perfect location for our visit to Yorktown. Once there we really didn't have to drive much. It is easy to walk down to the water, to the battlefield and the American Revolution Museum. We walked to restaurants and shops. The trolley that does a loop has a stop directly across from the cottage. The cottage had nice places to sit outside, plenty of room in the living area.
