“About 20 minutes to walking & colonial Williamsburg, 20 to Busch Gardens. Very clean. It was really warm when we arrived but cooled down well enough (the upstairs more effectively than the downstairs but both were pleasant). This is a Hilton run resort and it was a gorgeous property with lots to do on its campus (indoor pool, mini golf, walking grounds, gym, fishing, etc etc). The kitchens were well enough appointed. Make sure you bring salt and pepper as they weren't included with the "basics."……

“This house is perfect for a family getaway. It's a short drive to Buckroe Beach, local parks and downtown. The neighborhood is full of families and children. The house itself is beautifully decorated to give you that "I'm on vacation at the beach" vibe. But moreso than that, it has the most thoughtful extra touches - there are beach chairs, there's a Pack n Play and a kitchen booster seat in case you have a little one, there's a big yard so the kids can go outside and get out of your hair. “We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. ”

“Nice quiet place. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Only downfall kitchen has no oven, but we made use of the charcoal grill provided. Bring your own BBQ tools. We like to cook kitchen lacking great pots, pans and utensils. We made do. Had a nice supply of spices and Harris Teeters is near by. The planes are not a big deal amazing to watch. Loved visiting Grandview. Amazing beach. Lots of wildlife. We would definitely stay again. ”
