“We really enjoyed Hotel San Jose. The property is very retro with a cool vibe. It feels very secluded but is right in the middle of South Congress. There are tons of restaurants and shops with walking distance. There was plenty of on site parking without the valet hassle. We had a pool day and there was a bar service there. The let us bring our dog and even had a bed and food and water bowls waiting in the room for her! Would love to stay again!”

“Austin is known for being quirky and this hotel is. Location is superb; right off Congress. Perla is up one block. We had drinks served poolside one afternoon. Drinks were delicious and being able to sit under a covered arbor in the shade was wonderful, given Austin’s warm temperatures this time of year. Lovely, large room with seating area and bar/sink. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“Overall nice hotel. Rooms are nice. The bar downstairs was our only dissapointment. Way to loud and overcrowded. Hotel guest can’t even get a table. Look like a pickup area for young hungry girls that want old men with money!”

“Property was amazing. I was comfortable from the second I entered the door. The bed was comfy, the den felt like I was at home. The wireless audio system made hosting guests easy. I have zero complaints about this properties.”

“The server/ bartender was so friendly and sweet! We didn’t get to finish our glasses of wine because we were in a rush for a concert that evening so we wanted to go back upstairs and get ready. He told us that we could take our wine glasses upstairs while we get ready! I thought that was so cool and awesome! He called us friends and made us feel special. ”
