“Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. “We spent 4 nights at Birch Haven in July. It’s in a lovely, quiet, remote location just under 9 miles from Lubec. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, surrounded by woods. The pictures are an accurate representation. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck, listening to birds, watching squirrels do their thing. We saw deer as we drove in and out of the home and spotted seals in the harbor. Really loved watching the tides come in and out, and smelling the sea. The tidal range was……
