“I wasn't exactly sure what we were getting when I booked. I was impressed with the pictures, but I didn't think much about what "off the grid" really means. That was my fault. “The little cabin was almost exactly as described. It's in a beautiful area and has a trail out back that goes through some great scenery. The only things that were different from the listing were 1) no sheets or adequate blanket on the second bed, just a thin blanket covering the mattress and 2) no running water when we went in mid November. “I enjoyed the Wildflower Cabin overall. The hot tub overlooked the creek and was relaxing to dip into after a long day of hiking. My husband and my toddler and our family dog all enjoyed ourselves. The neighbor cabin "Sycamore Cabin" is just a short distance away and was a bit too close for comfort, didn't offer as much privacy and peace as we would have liked. I would recommend booking both the Wildflower and Sycamore cabins with people you know because otherwise it's a wonderful location and……

“This was the perfect little cabin for our anniversary getaway. Had everything we needed for cooking at the cabin on the days we didn't want to venture out to eat. Houae was super clean and exactly like the listing! Would definitely stay again if we revisit the area.”

“The property was as described, beautiful and serene. The hike up from the road is steep, so be prepared if you have firewood or heavy bags. The cabin was very nice with clean sheets and more pots and pans than I expected to find. The hand pump for non-potable water was convenient and the cooler worked well for our food. “This property is so well appointed and in a beautiful location. It was perfect for a serene getaway. No wifi on the premises but it was just as well as we wanted to unplug. Would stay again and recommend to anyone who needed a recommendation for a place to stay in the Red river gorge.”
