“We had room 8 which is in a separate building behind the main house in the upstairs suite...it was lovely! Nice and clean and really nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable nights rest! There are two hot tubs available for guests use eith plenty of towels in the room. We enjoyed the complimentary chocolate bars....thank you! ”

“This was an amazing place to stay as well as visit. The staff was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and wonderful. The grounds and rooms a beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is delicious and the distillery tour is a must. The only complaint i would have is the boxed breakfast and self serve coffee in room.”

“My sons and I stayed here for one night. The property manager was wonderful! She answered all of our questions, helped me find a car service in the area and then checked back to make sure everything went well. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the location to the harbour was great for my boys!!!”

“We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%”
