“We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills. The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... “Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby……

“Absolutely lovely spot. We were lucky with the weather and had the place to ourselves. The property is rustic, environmentally friendly, and hosts Sophie and Paul were relaxed and welcoming. We had our own garden area. It was really handy for the beaches around Newquay and Cardigan. We loved it. All the facilities we needed, comfortable and cosy. Plus pigs and donkeys! Perfect for us.”
