“My husband and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary here and couldn’t have been happier. This is a beautifully restored and updated stone cottage in a truly stunning setting, on a lovely farm with views of the sea and the hills. It was a perfect location to explore the Pembrokeshire coastal path and visit St David’s. The hosts’ recommendations for eating out were great and the cottage had everything necessary to cook in as well. Finally, a highlight was being visited by their wonderfully polite……

“We enjoyed every minute of our one-week stay. The house is one of the places which by itself makes a vacation special. Kitchen and living area are very spacious with wonderful looks into the surrounding landscape. We were actually happy about a rainy morning so that we were forced to stay at home and not go out for a hike. We love cooking for ourselves and the kitchen is fully equipped. “Host was exceptional, have never been to a property where everything has been so carefully thought out and planned for. Beautiful property 10m away from the cove where we were able to play with all our toys …. Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and spear fishing. Views are breathtaking and the caves and cliffs are an added bonus.”

“We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. ”

“We enjoyed staying at this cottage and it made a great base for exploring the southern coast of Cardigan Bay, which has some fabulous stretches of the coastal path. However, the cottage was really cold when when arrived mainly because the owner insists on turning the radiators to frost setting and then locking them. The heating instructions left in the cottage folder are really out of date and relate to a heating system that is no longer there (night storage heaters that the instructions say……

“The property was great for my family of 4. Walkable to all abersoch has to offer. Our only issue was the unseasonably hot weather for which the house is not prepared. The upstairs really cooks. It’s hard to mark down the quality of the accommodations but, given the increasing frequency and magnitude of hot days, it would have helped to have a couple of fans on hand. ”
