“We arrived very late in the evening about 9:30pm and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or more helpful. They recommended a local takeaway that delivered and allowed us to eat our food in the bar and have a drink. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Had a lovely overnight stay here. I arrived early as I was attending a wedding and was able to access my room no problem to get ready. Room has recently been re-furbished and is beautiful. “Brilliantly clean room, nice and spacious. Lovely friendly staff. Modern bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere and very peaceful. The town is really nice with lots of history. Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. Breakfast was so generous in its portions and superbly cooked. ”

“The Crosskeys Inn is a perfect example of a local pub providing accomodations to a very high standard while remaining true to its original purpose as a village pub. Very clean, food was excellent, friendly staff and folk music in the bar, it's hard to see how they can improve.”

“Nice hotel, we had a feature bedroom which was spacious and comfortable although it really needs handrails in the bathroom to get out of the narrow bath!. Guests can use the facilities including the pool at the sister Peebles Hydro hotel about 2 minutes drive away. Handy for walking into Peebles high street and the river walks. Good choice of meals in the bar which were reasonably priced and excellent.”
