“We stayed here as it was close to our daughters cheer Comp and it happened to be my husbands birthday weekend so we wanted to stay somewhere other than a hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub! The view of the lake, the fire pit, the spacious downstairs to watch tv and play family games! Very easy check in. Would recommend, we’d like to come back when weather is warmer to enjoy the lake ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Cottage in Narragansett for a few days in August. The beach cottage was cute, comfortable, and a great location close to the beach. We had good communication with the host and she was quick to answer questions. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower which was very handy after a day at the beach. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We loved staying in this cute little home during the weekend of our friends wedding. We weren't around for too much time, but really enjoyed it. The kitchen was stocked full of everything utensil or pan we needed, and then some. We also wanted to extend our stay after we booked and they were very accommodating and got back to us very quickly. “Our extended family loves Marie's place! The cousins love soending alone time in the kid cabins, and the dining room table is great for a rousing game of Monopoly Go. Nice huge TV makes movie nights fun, and the pool can't be beat. Thanks for a great visit!”

“When booking online it is often difficult to be assured that the information presented is accurate. In this case it really was; this truly is a stunning home in a secluded spot; even the wildlife was welcoming! We were there in winter and had a snow storm keeping us indoors for half of our weekend but that did not detract from our enjoyment at all, in fact, it added to the ambiance of our weekend. The only downside, if there was one, was the approach road being unpaved and muddy when we arrived;……

“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”

“Our stay in Newport was very comfortable in the three bedroom, two bath space. The kitchen and living room were just as pictured and in great shape. Parking across the street was a great bonus. The third bedroom (downstairs) was very spacious, but a bit drafty since it opened to an unheated storage area and outside. The second bath shower was tiny for my 6'3" frame. Great restaurants, and coffee shops close by. Chris is a wonderful host.”
