“It was a great stay. Good space. A great place to come back to after exploring Connecticut for a few days. The pond access and kayaks were a great bonus ”

“The cottage met all our needs. It is nestled between two marinas and in a quiet neighborhood. It is small but very efficient. One of the marinas has a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch and the owner of the restaurant is super friendly. Sitting out on the deck in the warm sun was lovely. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“My two children and I stayed for a couple of nights at LeighAnn’s home in Charlestown. It was very clean and comfortable and just as listed. The outdoor shower was amazing after our beach days! Prime location for beaches! Thank you LeighAnn! ”

“A quaint getaway for mom's big birthday, just the girls, with a balance of coziness and airy space! Check in process was smooth with email communication and clear directions for care of the home. Bathroom accommodations felt a little disjointed with limited sink space, but the setup made things work for the days we were there. Overall we loved our stay!”

“First time renting a house for vacation and had a great time. Just a short drive to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet which made it easy to relax. ”

“Clean and quaint - nicely renovated. Beautifully furnished and decorated, very comfortable. Dog friendly is a real plus. Owner was very responsive to a few minor things. The location near Matunick Beach is convenient and the views from the upper deck out over the marina are fantastic. We had a full house with family for JWU graduation weekend and could not have been more pleased. It would be a great destination for extended family with the other two cottages on the property. Only wish there……

“Everything was as it said it was in the listing. I loved walking into the home and being able to have a cold drink with ice. There are a lot of places I have stayed at that have no ice. It sounds like a little thing but after a long hot ride a ice cold drink is nice to have. The owners live right next door but you wouldn't know it. That is nice in case of something happening and you need help. Would recommend this home to anyone who wants to explore Rhode Island ”

“We had a great stay at The Cottage. It was peaceful and quiet. The house was perfectly appointed for our needs. The lake and views of the lake are the stars of the show. We also appreciated the proximity to Mystic and surrounding attractions and dining. ”

“I recently stayed here with my two daughters and their boyfriends. The weather might not have cooperated, but the house surely made up for that. The second you walk in the door, it is absolutely beautiful all the details a wonderful outdoor shower it felt like going home. And you could walk to the beach in about five minutes which was the best part and it had a beautiful deck and a lawn that all the kids got to stay up at night and play cornhole. Can’t wait to go back to this place, amazing……

“Nice long weekend getaway. The house was comfortable and clean. It was a good location—2 min drive to East Matunuck Beach and close enough to Route 1 to get to Wakefield and Narragansett easily. ”

“My daughters (14 and 18 mths) came to visit my son that is stationed in CT with the navy. He came to stay the weekend with us. This house was a short 18 min drive to base. It was close to the beach and many other things. Only took us only 16 mins to get to mystic. The kitchen was great for me to be able to make my boy some home cooked food. We throughly enjoyed our family time here together. ”

“It was close to everything, the house was immaculate designed beautifully and the pool was amazing. Ron should be very proud of his rental property and he was a joy to deal with as well”

Pity, pity, pity~

"The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the light either! We pay more for a water view room, but end up had no view and no good sleep! Pleople who works in the bar restaurant are really friendly, but the environment is filthy! A lot feathers came out of decoration pillows! Not very comfortable visually! "
