“The location was perfect for visiting Cape Hatteras, Duck, Wright Brothers Memorial Museum, Manteo and the BEACH! We have visited Nags Head many times but it was the first time for my parents. We showed them all the highlights of the area. We also had downtime at the house - made dinner on 2 nights, breakfast daily, played games and built a puzzle together. Lots of local restaurants when we didn't want to cook.”

“We came to Outer Banks for our 2024 family vacation with six adults and two teens. We always do midweek arrival so that often limits us to properties. This cottage came up on my first search and I continued to be drawn to it over and over during my search. It was everything we were looking for and it didn’t disappoint! We had access to a community pool and our own private hot tub. Beach access was 200 yards down the street, and was very easy walk if we wanted to come back and grab food or needed……

“The location could not be more perfect at this property that epitomizes old Nags Head. The relaxing porch leads to a gorgeous beach. The interior of the house is old, but newer bathrooms - as described in the listing. The kitchen provided the basics (plates, utensils, etc) but could’ve benefited from some essentials (like dish soap and dishwasher detergent). More bath towels would’ve also been helpful. Communication from the property manager was timely and thorough. ”

The home was clean and had everything needed for a large family. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us the ability to cook meals and enjoy at home all together. Owner responded promptly and ensured our needs were met. Close location to beach with accessible private pathway. Highly recommend!”
