“Perfect for a quick getaway The staff are amazing the dig are near Sainsbury’s and other shops. Domino pizza on the doorstep. 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the Beach and old town. Perfect place for a trip to the coast. ”

“stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker”

“What a treasure Rye has with The George. Extremely well located, about a 10 minute walk (albeit some uphill) from the station parking, a lovely old building that's in good condition. We went at low season so Rye was quiet (great for us, albeit some businesses were closed for staff vacations...not a problem), and very walkable. We enjoyed several small pubs which felt very cosy and welcoming in the cooler nights. Strongly recommended. ”

“We loved our stay in this unique place. The staff was warm and welcoming and very accommodating and the surrounding area was gorgeous to wander. Given the age of the Inn, the facilities are excellent, although an upgrade in the bathroom, especially the shower, would be nice. Overall though, I highly recommend this wonderful, historic, and charming place!”

“Good hotel, the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and clean, with excellent shower. Had also been recently decorated so felt clean and fresh. Car parking is available around the side streets. Good transport to Bexhill by bus or train, and a short walk along the promenade to Hastings old town. Would stay again.”
