“Fantastic location. Lovely staff on the whole. Outside grassy area had a lot of cigarette butts which was unpleasant. Also outside seating on grass a few more options would be good. Most of the seats were really low. Will definitely be back.”

“A bit late here for a review, but stayed in late June. Friendly and accommodating to us who failed to read the hotel rules and had a couple of awkward moments with late arrivals and service needs! Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful authentic antique structure with just the right modern conveniences and Great access to our choice garden visits in the area. we would definitely stay again Thank you Julio! love the white Hydrangeas”

“Historic hotel in a lovely market town. Very clean, reasonably priced, excellent breakfast. Dinner was tasty but perhaps the portion was a bit stingy. Miles is an excellent waiter and all round go-to person. Very personable. ”
