“The home was as advertised and the view was even more stunning than the listing photos. Very clean and no problem with the internet. It was easy to find and good proximity to Hood River (which has great restaurants and very nice riverside park). We went on a few scenic drives that were really beautiful. Deck furniture is great but in need of new (thicker) cushions. Really enjoyed our stay!! ”

“Overall stay was ok but the check in process was a mess. I paid for an extra day because I was coming in the middle of the morning with several little kids and the gate had a padlock on it. I was stuck outside for 1 hour waiting for the code at 1am with extremely tired kids. The answering company was pretty rude and told me not to call back again about the same problem. I thought I was scammed at first. I eventually got it the house was big cozy and had enough fun things to do while we were……

“Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. “The highlight of this property is really the view. Mt Hood is just gorgeous, and the property also sits over a bend in the Sandy River with forest all around. You can even see what I think is Mt St Helens on a sunny day. The deck, hot tub, fire pit, and the small private deck are all just incredibly places to take on the view and the many birds. “My daughter attended an outdoor camp with a local gym. I needed a place where we could relax in the evening and I could work remotely during the day. The general location was perfect. Easily walkable to everything. It took us about a day to get used to the train traffic.
