“Contigo Ranch is a very beautiful and peaceful place. Just sitting on the porch, either in front or the back, one can observe wonderful wildlife such as deers, wild turkeys, humming birds, road runners and the ever talking colony of Purple Martins. The flowering Sage added just the perfect touch of color. The breakfast delivered in picnic basket in the morning was very good. ”

“This place was absolutely amazing! We drank cheap booze and listened to live music in the saloon! Ate a delicious Breakfast and Dinner at the restaurant! Enjoyed a really cool star party with the professional astronomy and telescope! Swam in the grotto pool! Relaxed in our jacuzzi tub!! It was a really good experience! Two minor problems. 1) everything was a little hard to find and the maps provided weren't very helpful at all... but we managed. 2) I think the bed in the DaVinci suite was……

“You never quite know what you’re going to get when staying in remote areas, but this property was a gem. It’s tranquil, quiet, and full of wildlife. We booked it specifically to catch a meteor shower, and it did not disappoint. The dark, starry skies were incredible.The property features an easy hiking trail that follows a jeep path. The owner had kindly mowed a path through the tall grass, which stretched for well over a mile. For those who want a bit more adventure, there are shorter, steeper……

“The location of the house is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the river. Pastries, juice, milk, cereal and coffee for breakfast. That was a nice treat. The sheets on the bed were dreamy! Communication with Ambre, the host was excellent! If you’re looking for the perfect little place in Llano, this is the one!”

“Comfy, relaxing and close enough but also far away enough from downtown Fredericksburg:) I did miss using the outdoor shower but maybe next time ;) If it wasn’t July we would have enjoyed the hot tub as the backyard is inviting and private. Checking in was easy and the Wi-Fi access was great. Sometimes you have to work a little while on a short getaway. ”

“Very nice, easy to find, close to lots of fun stuff to do, nice appliances, no closing chores, excellent cottage. Don't use the swing, it belongs to the neighbor and she was cranky!”
