“Cozy, clean, well-equipped. Very peaceful setting. Good for bird watching and birdsong. Saw several deer. They came right up to the yard one evening. Good place to get away from it all but close enough to Fredericksburg to be convenient.”

“We traveled to Fredericksburg from the cold March weather of upstate New York. Creekside was very convenient to the downtown area and wineries, yet set back in a private area. Accommodations were nice for 2 couples with an extra room upstairs if needed for kids. ”

“We debated staying closer in town to staying 20 minutes away and we were glad we chosep the Star gazers’ property. I’d advise arriving the first time in daylight, as it is a long private road where you don’t know if a deer or a steer will be greeting you.It was a good fit for our group. We were all cozy and slept well in the spacious bedrooms, glad we had the dining room to all eat together and play board games, and it had all the amenities we need to cook with. The weather was a little wild……

“The house was really nice, decorated well, had all the necessary items and extra well stocked kitchen for cooking. There was also a nice backyard with a bricked in area with grill and chairs - great space to relax! It is close enough to walk to the down town and the river.”

“We had a trip of six guys, three father and son groups, to the hill country planned and found this rental which worked out perfect for us. The house and bunk house were very accommodating, clean and comfortable. The location outside of Llano was perfect. The property is in an area along the river that was very scenic with deer in the yard everyday. There are neighbors, but we never saw them and my guess is they are mostly getaway type places. I would recommend for your next trip. ”

“Six senior guys, ready for a nice place to fish, play 42, enjoy adult beverages, cooking and eating. The house was great, location terrific. On a dead end road, so very little traffic. Bonus was meeting the owner, he came to check a showerhead not cooperating. Had a very nice visit. ”
