“Greg and Jackie what more can we say! If we could give 10 we would. You are both such warm and welcoming hosts and we hope your B and B thrives. Your kniwledge if the area and places to visit were spot on. We will definitely be back again and will pass on your details to any friends we know thar are looking fir a super place to stay. Thank you once again and one last thing can you tell me where you buy all you toiletries their fragrances were gorgeous!!! Carry on with what you are doing it was……
“Magnificent! A really great outing for the senses: comfortable, beautiful presented old school house with an antique shop in the playground, good parking, superb village location, convenient for the whole of west Norfolk and close enough to major routes for the rest of the county / region. Bridget and Andrew are excellent hosts, the breakfast was wonderful, wi-fi strong, and decoration throughout is marvellous. Very good value stay - top quality shower!! As ever, my best recommendation would be……
“Great place to stay with dogs. Nice rooms and a kitchen. They also provide EV Car charging which I took advantage of for £20/day. This property does not come up on the Hotels.com search filter for EV charging locations. ”
“Another excellent stay at the White Horse. Barry is an excellent host who we share great banter with. The English breakfast id the best we have had at anywhere we have stayed. We can thoroughly recommend this fine village hostelry.”
“Every member of staff that we interacted with were helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was lovely and so was breakfast. Very dog friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer!”
“Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. ”
“Starting with the positives: the room was lovely, large, well appointed and furnished to high standard, large bathroom with bath and shower.
BUT if you are staying on a weekend or the night before a Public holiday be prepared for the pub to be packed and the music to be loud. We could easily hear music and voices from the bar in our room, and it wasn’t just in the background. We complained and the music did get turned down which also meant the voices weren’t as loud, but we still had to sleep……
“Our second stay here, clean well decorated bedroom of a good size (Room9). Quiet as on the upper floor.
Good pub menu with generous portions. It was nice weather so sat outside with a drink before going in to eat.”
“My first stay at the Farmhouse but my sister has stayed before and recommended. Went with my dog and they were very accommodating and friendly to us both. Great location for some long walks in a nice peaceful area.
Room was a good size and the bed was super comfy. Can't wait to go back :) ”
“Unfortunately as we had travelled by train we were limited to using the buses to get into King's Lynn which was quite a good service but was a long 20/25 minutes walk to the bus stop from the hotel.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff and very clean throughout. Delicious food ”
“Lovely stay, Staff are excellent very friendly. Comfortable room, however the shower head was dripping which was a little irking. Breakfast was great. Did not have dinner, so unsure what it would be like. Overall I would be back. ”
