“We arrived early at the hotel, and were able to check in, although our room wasn't ready. We were greeted by very friendly staff at reception. Ann was particularly friendly. After a coffee in the bar/restaurant we went off exploring. We received a text to say that our room was ready, but we were enjoying Wexford town, so returned later. Parking was easy. Our large room had a great view over the river. The room was comfortable & clean with good facilities, as was the bathroom. We had dinner in……

“We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay……

“This was a renovated castle. It was close to restaurants, within 10 minutes, very clean. There is no office to check in but the owner has camera to know when you arrive and meets you. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different!”
