“The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. Walls are paper thin that you can hear everything from the next door neighbor. The bedroom AC doesn’t work properly, that it doesn’t cool and was very noisy. The……

“There are not enough stars to give this property! Beautiful villas, breathtaking view, animals just out our door! We stayed 7 nights in Suite 1, toucans, macaws, kookaburras, iguanas, hummingbirds and a Pizote all viewed from our pool deck. Wonderful indoor shower that could be open to outside, also had an outside shower, private pool with lounge chairs. Very clean, grounds well maintained. Would stay here again happily, honestly it was the best part of our trip!”

The staff at the receptions are not locals and their knowledge of the hospitality world is null, this was the worst check in and check out process. Not long ago, this was one of the best boutique hotels in Puntarenas. The place is beautiful, the staff seems they don’t care their job. The restaurant is expensive and they are not willing to make small changes in the menu even if the price is 4x what you will pay on average in any other……
