“Beautiful property, lovely experience but also not what we expected. I would consider this more of a working ranch than a resort, as we felt like it's more setup for locals to Belmopan and cowboys than it is to the average traveler. Nice food, good overall value. Kind of a strange cowboy guy who apparently owns the property who was a little overly friendly to my girlfriend out of the blue. However seems that locals love him and have good things to say. If you're up for something a bit different……

“Beautiful property and river view, welcoming and friendly staff. Coco the dog was a welcoming presence! Road construction, less chlorine in the pool and fixing the clogged shower would make it 5 stars.”

“Foi uma ótima experiência, hotel muito calmo e agradável, equipe muito simpática, trilhas dentro do lodge com piscinas naturais exclusivas. O restaurante é otimo, mas os valores são bem altos. O café da manhã incluído é muito bom, mas bem pequeno, acabamos pedindo complementos, que são caros também, mas deliciosos. A cidade fica a 40 minutos de carro.”

“Absolutely beautiful property and grounds, you feel very immersed in nature here, and can hear howler's and bird life in about every direction. The creek below is great for a dip, and the inland blue whole is an easy 15min stroll down the road (costs 4usd per person to enter) for more swimming. Cabins are rustic but clean and tastefully decorated. As someone not used to the humidity I would have loved the option of AC, lots of fans in the cabin but they don't do much in 30 Celsius. “Nice small resort on the river. It has a restaurant & bar offering breakfast, lunch & dinner (dinner options limited). They can arrange tours, we did 1 thru them & it was good. It's not in town but within 10-15 minutes, so if you want to go to dinner in town you'll need a car. We had an issue with air conditioner that they fixed right away even though it was Good Friday, had to jiggle with toilet a few times to get it to work & 1 entry door would only partly open. There weren't many bugs, but……
