“Great, cozy cabin! No real complaints as it is exactly what it appears to be—an above average, quaint getaway in the woods. Only thing that was a drawback was the hot tub bleached my swimsuit. Might have been random, but something to look out for! Book the trip! You’ll enjoy it! ”

“Wow, this place exceeded all our expectations! Its so clean, cozy and down right relaxing. The owners are amazing and some of the kindest people we have come across, Mike are wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a couple glasses of wine and catching up on the past 10 years as my husband andi were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and we cant wait until we make it back and would definitely stay at this cabin again ”

“It was a great time. A nice, beautiful, and spacious house with a great forest. Just 30 min from the city, and perfect for a large group. If I come back to Nashville, this is where I would stay. ”

“We had a great time at The Getaway. The property was very secluded and quiet. There were ample games for my family. The fire pit area was perfect. And the owners were great at communicating. We had lots of rain and some massive storms, and they were quick to check and make sure we faired well. They were also quick to respond to any questions we had. I’d stay again!”

“The house was spacious. The front porch was great, the pool table kept us busy during rain, games and movies available. 3 night stay was just right. I would highly recommended updating to smart TV's, updating the pots and pans. Unable to use many of them .all in all we had a great time. ”

“We had an absolute great time!! So enjoyed getting to the know the hosts as we set around the bon fire. They are very hospitable and friendly. The cabin was beautiful, and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the chickens and especially the goats. We will defiantly be back. Thank you so much Jill and LJ.”

“The location was great. The cabin is super cute and clean. The yard behind the cabin was very woodsy and fun to take pictures in. Two areas of improvement are noted. We rented the cabin based on the fact that we wanted a girls weekend and a getaway. The hot tub was part of the getaway. We looked specifically for a cabin that had a hot tub. This cabin had one; however, it never reached a point to which we could get in it. That was very disappointing. Additionally, there is a lack of insulation in……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was perfect for large family gatherings, and had everything we needed to accommodate the making of meals. The kitchen was fully equipped and the dining room large enough for a dozen people to eat together. We only had 6 people sleeping there, but my extended family was staying in another house close by. They spend a lot of time with us because the house was sufficient to host. We loved our evenings around the fire pit. No complaints on……

“Super clean, quiet and everything you need for a relaxing stay. 20 minutes to Cumberland University. My family loved it!”

“The cabin was awesome! Great location, tucked away with a locked gate area! We LOVED the hot tub and the view from the back yard. Lots of things to do at the cabin. Towel warmer was amazing! Beds were very comfortable. Cabin was really cool! Only thing we wished we had was a closet or dresser in the master bedroom for our clothes. Host provided drinks and snacks and chocolate. She was onsite and wonderful!! Great time! ”
