“Dick was extremely welcoming and friendly coming out to meet me on arrival and carrying my bag. My accommodation was clean, comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful with excellent service. Would love to come back with my family.”

“Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely.”

“Dinner was amazing. The service was awesome. Loved all the quirky things to look at throughout both the pub area and our bedroom. Wish we could stay longer to explore these more. Nice little touches like pot pouri in the bathroom. Comfortable bed for a good night sleep. ”

“The hotel is located inside the pub. I was one of the attic rooms and didn’t hear any noise from the pub. The Sunday roast is well worth it. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. My room was a twin bedroom. It was fine but there was no floor length mirror. The mirror on the dressing table you could manoeuvre but you couldn’t see your full outfit. The mattresses need to be changed. Although I slept really well, the mattress was very lumpy with a firm impression on one side. The bathroom does……
