“This is a very charming space tailored to providing a quiet, cosy and comfortable stay. Steeped in history, this manor transports you back in time. The rooms are very comfortable, ensuring a deep rest. The restaurant serves an incredible french menu which was delicious and the attention by the host was top notch. I would definitely stay here next time im in these parts.”

No fans, hair dryer, iron or tv in the rooms but a kettle,ctea & coffee is. If out exploring, yhen this is a great base.”

“The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.”

“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. “We are not to the manor born but we could stay there for a couple nights. It was lovely! Our room and ensuite bathroom were both spacious and comfy. The cooked breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, toast and cereal got us off to a strong start. The car park at Burcombe Manor was nice but we drove in to Wilton and took the bus to Salisbury, which turned out very easy--much better than driving. Burcombe Manor is ideally located for visiting Wilton House, Salisbury, Old Sarum, Stonehenge and Bath. Quiet……
