“ Seeking a real St. Johns experience -not a crowded hotel - my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Lameshur cottage on the hillside. The owner was very helpful; he and his wife have worked hard to create a charming cottage (along with camper accomodations below) on the far south side of St. John near Salt Bay Pond. We brought food to cook as grocery store in Coral Bay was a distance away. Everything was there for meal preparation and we dined on the porch over looking a valley and……

“I somehow missed the part that the toilet was about 50 yards away from the container.I also missed the part that it was a “peekaboo shower“ in the outdoor kitchen area (40 yards away), with a view of the owners front porchBeing retired military, with several overseas visits, that was not a problem for me.My wife was a little bit more delicate and refused to use the shower ”

“We really enjoyed our stay - from the balcony, there was a wonderful view of the tops of the trees that covered the valley behind the house. We would watch iguanas eating tropical flowers on the treetops and parakeets flying back and forth. The interior was great too, with a great kitchen and comfortable furnishings.”

“Great location near Coral Bay, super close to the market, restaurants, as well as some incredible beaches such as Salt Pond. Very clean property and check in and out was smooth. The deck was very well-kept, and they had all the amenities needed for a great stay. Would absolutely stay at Blue Wrasse again! ”

“Mayling’s property is brand new, completely redone. We stayed on the ground unit. The tile is beautiful and has great bathrooms. The kitchen is nice..we did not cook but the space is comfortable. Smart TVs in all three rooms. This is a nice unit that feels new. Mayling also left us plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, even beach chairs that we did not use, as we had our own. Warning, it is hard to find and the driveway is very steep, but she gave us excellent directions and any……

“We had stayed in Lois’ property Vista next door 2 years ago so we knew it would be a wonderful experience in Paradise this time around. The house is as shown and more. The beach chairs and cooler are always a big help. The view is breathtaking and you can’t get enough of it. The beaches are all just a few minutes away. We will be back again, and again.”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views on the quieter side of the island. Property has lovely gardens, beautiful to see and very attractive to birds (one of our key interests). We saw 18 “life” species on the island, 14 of which we saw from the expansive deck. Hosts were very personable, with good recommendations on places to bird, eat and snorkel. It helped that they had snorkel equipment and beach towels for our use. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay.……
