“We spent a long weekend at Houghton visiting relatives. The cabin was perfectly comfortable and clean! We had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!”

“Perfect little cottage right on the lake with amazing views. My son and I came for a couple days of fishing. We caught a few bass and crappie right off the dock. We also used the pontoon for a day but windy weather kept us from catching more. The boat itself is very nice. The property has a small sandy beach and shallow sandy bottom water that would have been great for smaller kids in warmer weather.”

“The cabins were cozy. The walls were very thin and felt like the interiors were original from the 40s or the 50s and there was old wiring and outlets but it gave it a rustic feeling that I liked. Beach was nice but we didn't go swimming. The shower was tiny but a bigger shower will not fit so I can't complain. It was nice.”

“When we arrived we had to text to obtain the code which took a while, we found the sliding door was unlocked before the code was sent. When you flushed the toilet a gurgling sound came out of the kitchen sink and it smelled like sewer. Kitchen sink took forever to drain, many windows without screens and the sliding door did not lock nor did it have a screen. Location is good overall comfort was good but the place certainly needs upgrades.”

“The place had a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, it was clean and had everything you needed to cook! Game room area was awesome as well. Definitely enjoyed the view from the bed to outside with all the snow that came down over the weekend! ”
