“This property has excellent potential, but currently is overpriced. We had no tv while there, internet was down second day due to changing providers, not enough dishes to feed 5 people, only one ratty dish towel, lawn chairs instead of real indoor seating. Beds were comfortable but some sheets had holes in them. If you like rustic this is perfect. The cabins are set back in the woods making it feel you are out in the woods. “Location near the beach is fantastic. It is an older place but for the price it is an excellent value. The upstairs was very loud at night by the road and the internet is not good. The beach out front is fantastic and staff is super nice. Definitely good value!!”

“The property owner never responded to multiple messages. The link that VRBO sent with check in information was blank, and the host never provided directions or instructions to access the property. When I called him, the phone didn’t even connect to a voice mail. I think we were scammed.”

“We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. ”

“We had a nice stay in this property. Nice cozy bed, smart TV, kitchen (microwave, 2 ring stove, fridge, sink, pots, pans, cutlery, cutting board, and such), bathroom, and sitting area both inside and outside. “The place is great for 4 people, others would have to sleep in living room and table only sits 4. First night I got little sleep because of extreme wind noise, but depends on weather conditions. There is no AC so place gets very hot during the day. Views are amazing!”

“Just had a fantastic weekend at this brand new, cozy studio apartment. It's quiet, has everything you need, and the new spacious garden is lovely. Plus, it's only a quick 3-minute drive to downtown Monteverde. Definitely planning on coming back!”
