“Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There……

“Het was een super leuke tijd met het gezin. Lekker ouderwets aan de enorme keuken tafel. De open haard hebben we ook kunnen gebruiken wat nog extra sfeer en gezelligheid heeft gegeven. De eigenaar bracht elke ochtend vers brood. Ook goede restaurants in de buurt aanwezig en betaalbaar. ”

“Hemos pasado una semana muy agradable en la casa de los abuelos. Joao Pedro nos recibió obsequiándonos un pan y un chorizo locales. Muy hospitalario y amable. La casa dispone de todo lo necesario destacando una piscina rodeada de cesped estupenda! También hay una magnífica barbacoa y aparcamiento dentro de la propiedad. Las playas están a 10-15 minutos en coche. No perderse el "Atelier do doce". Está situado a un par de kilómetros de la casa y hacen unos dulces maravillosos”

“This home is in a beautiful rural area yet close to the lovely historic town of Tomar. The views of the surrounding landscape are gorgeous and the property includes fruit trees. The home was immaculate and entry was easy. My partner and I both enjoyed our stay. A true delight!”

“The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13……

“Super séjour. La piscine est un vrai plus pour les enfants. Il y a de belles choses à visiter autour. La maison est très propre, bien équipée. La salle de bain privative pour 3 des 4 chambres est super. Le gérant immobilier est serviable et à l’écoute.”
