“We certainly enjoyed our recent stay at The Bear House. It was a step back in time in this St Elmo home, yet all of today’s amenities were available. The cozy bed covered in beautiful linens was tough to get out of in the morning. The bright sunlit kitchen has all the necessities guests would need; bathrooms were well stocked with fresh towels and soaps; and the sitting areas were cozy and inviting. Plenty of parking and, if there’s time, sitting in the garden would be a relaxing respite from……

“This was a really cool hotel. We stayed here on Valentine’s Day because we went to a show in the Walker theater and it was close by. I love the retro design. We had the tiki suite and it had a sitting area with a fireplace and it was so nice to sit by the fire after we’d been out walking in the cold. If you’re looking for something with a cool vibe and a lot of character, give this place a look. ”
