“Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. “I recently stayed at The Cabins at Monkey falls in Cayo and had a great time! The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when I mentioned that the initial bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. They promptly exchanged it for us, and the new bed made a significant difference in our comfort. Aside from that, the atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay. “This place is a hidden gem, we sprung for the villa and it was well worth it. Missing this place as we’re in San Pedro, very new with all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Villa Massis brings the amenities to the jungle, we loved seeing monkeys on the property. The staff and food were excellent, resort offers a very intimate dining experience. “We loved staying at this property. Comfortable beds, and the villa was immaculate. Our kids loved having the outdoor shower(s) and private pool. If other people were staying on the property, we didn't see them. We did not rent a 4wheel drive vehicle, which is highly recommended. The road leading to the villa was VERY steep. We were fine, but if it had rained during our stay we might have a different opinion on that choice!”

“We had a really nice stay at Maya Mountain Lodge! The grounds are absolutely beautiful with so many plants, and the pool was much needed after being out exploring in the heat all day. Fiona’s Cafe had good food at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and helped us book taxis to and from town. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay in nature, but not too far from town! ”
