“Pleasant room in the centre of Chester. /it was a little noisy, but only what was to be expected on a Saturday night in a city centre! Bed was comfortable, and room was clean. There is only one minor concern: We were given one key, which opened the front door, the door to the room's entrance, and our room door. Does this mean others can also use their key to access other rooms? Not sure... There is a safe provided, so for this reason, I'd use it for any valuables left in the room! ”

“Perfect stay, riverside rooms are lovely, staff are very friendly, loved having drinks in the beer garden on the river and breakfast was spot on! ”

“Clean and tidy overall. Staff are attentive and professional. However, rooms facing the carpark were noisy overnight. I need asking for changing my room to the other side of the hotel.”

“quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”

“Very well located with the racecourse on one side and walkable distance to the city centre on the other. Also next to a bus stop for those wanting to travel further. Reception staff was professional and although the system failed and we have been assigned somebody else's room, it has been quickly dealt with and we've been given an upgrade. Room was nice and clean with comfortable bed. Luck of a fridge was a big minus. Bathroom clean with part of the mirror that doesn't steam, which was a nice……

“Hotel located near old town and shopping center, very good food, great staffs especially Mat and Carry. But room is not clean enough.”

“Had very bad night sleep very loud vibration behind the bed in the wall , we looked to see whether there was a switch to turn off air conditioning system that we hadn’t noticed ( was still awake at 2:50) there wasn’t. We told the manager )?) in the morning he said Yes I noticed this morning someone hadn’t turned off the fans which make a very loud noise in room 3. Sorry. Well that didn’t make up for the fact we hadn’t had any sleep!!!!!! Shame as the lady behind the bar jolly pleasant as was the……

“Having been assigned to a very small room on the ground floor at the Annex building. The room was grossly over-priced at a rate of above 80 pounds (breakfast exclusive).”
