“Il posto è splendido, molto organizzato e nel complesso è stata una bella esperienza. Devo aver avuto sfortuna perché il mio appartamento oltre ad essere non del tutto pulito aveva questo sgradevole inconveniente: ogni sera saliva dal bagno un forte odore di fogna che poi se ne andava durante la notte. Peccato, se avrò occasione di tornare spero in una sistemazione diversa Nel complesso complimenti alla location e allo staff”

“Wir haben die Gegend erkundet, waren wandern und Vino/Olio probiert. Von der Terrasse blickt man weit über das Chianti.Die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich, zwar nur 2,2 km lang, aber teilweise unbefestigt und steil.”

“Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo, abbiamo perso l'autobus per colle val delsa e si è proposto di venirci a prendere a Siena. Si vede la sua passione per la sua città e la storia di colle val delsa.”

“The apartment is in a castle in Certaldo Alta. You have a modern apartment but once you step out of the door you feel like nothing has changed since Boccaccio lived here. Great restaurants down the street. Dolce vita at its best. The family loved it.”

“Surroundings were absolutely magical! The view, the pool, the vineyard, the buildings, the tranquility. Breakfast was good and the wine bar offered some drinks and icecream which was nice during our days at the pool. We also enjoyed the tennis court. Staff was very nice and the place was very clean. The apartment itself (scoiatollo) had everything we needed but I would definitely consider repainting the sharp lime green and purple colors which didn’t really fit the style and made the building……

“We enjoyed our time, the apartment is very large. Lots of rooms so we could spread out (there were 6 of us). It has an incredible amount of paintings/artwork, almost felt like a museum. The beds were comfortable and lots of bathrooms. Location was great as we did day trips to Florence, Siena & Lucca. Grocery store was a 10 min walk and the town square was a 5 min walk. Lots of activity in the town during the evening, great little shops, bakery. Nice farmers market on Saturday in the town square.……

“We were very happy with this place. Mornings sitting in patio were very nice with a view over Tuscany. A bit far out which meant that if you needed to buy something the nearest grocery store was 15-20 min drive. Still location to sight sea around Tuscany was very good. could get to Florence in 1 hr, to Sienna in 35 min and around Chianti region easily.”

“We had a very good time in this wonderful holiday apartment. We didn‘t miss anything. Everything is well equipped, especially the kitchen. We felt very comfortable. Many thanks to Elisa Pepi, she gave us good advice where to go.”

“first - every aspect of the place is wonderful. there are 2 things to be aware of. 1. it is secluded and remote - requiring a drive into the countryside ending in a 10 minute drive on an unpaved road; 2. wi-fi is difficult to unavailable. aside from this we couldn’t recommend it more strongly”
