“Madama was my first hostel experience and it was great! Beds were comfortable and the location was great, about a 5 minute walk to the metro which can get you anywhere in Milan quickly. Area is safe and always people around, but quiet. Madama’s bistrot is very lively, so if you prefer a more quiet hostel this is not for you. You can hear the kitchen working from the room but it’s usually quiet by midnight and starts up around 8 in noise. I did not mind this since I was out and about most of the……

“Near the LIN airport. If you need to travel to the city center, you can take the tram No.27 for around 20 mins. Anyway, it's hard to buy a ticket near the hotel as you can't find any shop nearby. The staff is polite but doesn't have a lot of passion. The room is simple and clean but not very satisfied with the bathroom. The breakfast is simple but still tasty. ”

“The staff was extremely nice and the stay was cheap and had everything we needed. It was about a mile, mile and a half to walk to the city center, but it’s doable if you’re a walker…which we are. I recommend this place if you’re looking for something cheap and clean and comfortable. ”
