“You won’t find a better deal in Santa Monica. The hotel is clean, conveniently located near the beach and attractions, and offers free parking, which is a big plus. The only downside is that the cleaning staff occasionally entered our room while we were still inside. Although they knocked beforehand, they came in a bit too quickly, which was a bit surprising.”

“Overall, the hotel room was clean (looked like it had been recently remodeled) and had all the basics I needed for one night, but it was difficult to sleep because of the traffic on Lincoln Blvd. I also had other people going in and out of their rooms next to and below me that made a lot of noise when the doors slammed, and it kept going on right up until midnight. No coffee maker in the room (one is located in the small lobby), and no free breakfast. Otherwise, it was a pretty good hotel.”

“Had a disappointing experience with the valet service. When I arrived and gave my last name, the valet repeatedly questioned it and made me spell it several times, while giving me a very dismissive and judgmental look. It felt like my name was being treated as strange or unacceptable. This kind of behavior made me feel deeply disrespected as a guest. A hotel of this level should ensure that all staff treat people with equal courtesy and professionalism, regardless of their name or background.”

“We really enjoyed staying at Santa Monica Hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was really only one downside - the room was pretty warm and there seemed to be no A/C. Overall, it was a good value for the area and a lovely walk down to the beach. ”
