“The house is about 4-5 miles from Gardiner, Montana, which is at the northern entrance to Gardiner, so it's very quiet but still close enough to town so it's an easy drive to restaurants, the grocery store, etc. The house itself is great. It's a fabulous mix of rustic and fancy, with a great living room and kitchen and really nice bedrooms. “My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and her family—they had the larger house and we took the smaller one. It was lovely being close together but not in the same house. My only complaint is that the listing says that this property is in Pray, Montana. It is not. It is on the other side of the Yellowstone River from Pray. The property is actually right off Highway 89, a few miles north of Emigrant. My only complaint is that this listing says the ”

“Pictures don’t do this property justice. The home is so much bigger and roomier than it appears in pictures. There 14 of us ranging from 10 years to 75 years and each and everyone of us was comfortable. The home has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, lots of things for entertainment. It is close to Yellowstone park and other area attractions. Matt the property owner is amazing. He helped us out and was always readily available and responsive. My son……

“We had a 5 day trip and found the cabin to be in a great location for some local meandering on scenic drives, walking along the creek, dinner at Sage Lodge and an evening at Chico Hot Springs (great soak and then a casual dinner at the Chico Saloon). We also spent 2 days at Yellowstone and found the drive to be pretty easy to the north entrance. Looking forward to going back for a longer stay!”
