We took an unexpected trip to Domodossola which was well worth the 45 minute drive to see the foothills of the alps along the drive and the old historic city which had amazing charm.”

“We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this charming hotel. The lakeside position is fantastic - it’s definitely worth paying more to get a lake view room. The room was quiet & clean with a comfortable bed and good linen - I think a proper feather duvet. We had a small balcony which was good for reading. The roof-top bar served pizza and light meals. We dined in the smart restaurant one evening - expensive but a lovely treat. The staff were very polite and friendly. Parking free in the hotel car……
