“We loved the place. Two problems: we were not told about the “no shoes indoors” until the night before which was an issue for my mother who wears an ankle brace and has to wear shoes to cover that brace- this was problematic to take shoes off and on and get around without the stability of her shoes. If we had more time we possibly could have made accommodation for her. We also did not get the WiFi code until day two which caused my son to go into massive apoplexy ( ) maybe have that available……

“What an amazing trip I had with my hubby and friends. The Calpine Mountain retreat a spacious but cozy place to get away and recharge. We have always enjoyed this area as the Sierra hotsprings are close by. Check in process was the easiest I have yet to experience. Property is nestled in the forest with a village vibe. Neighbors are far away enough to enjoy the scenic view from the deck. Restaurants and stores close by and a list of recommendations from the host. We enjoyed the big comfy couch,……

“We used this cabin for a work weekend with the team. Worked perfectly. House and location is great. I recommend grabbing the firewood. Really speeds up the heat and gets the house toasty. ”
