There wasn't much around at the end of October and based on reviews and us having a car, we went for this. “The Hotel Osai is a beautiful hotel that is meticulously clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My issue with the hotel is there was no staff onsite during the day. They were unavailable if you wanted to purchase water or any refreshments. There are no local restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance. We tried finding them and came up short. “Even though we had booked two weeks at a beach resort in Giardini-Naxos we still opted to come here for an overnight stay to get more from our visit to Ortigia/Siracusa than you can from just a day trip.
