“It was the perfect little place to relax and unwind after hiking in the Shenandoah. It was quiet and had a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy nature with a stream runnning along the property. Very clean and cozy.”

“My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to explore the Staunton area and it worked out nicely. The owners were always very on top of communication, kind, and accommodating. Everything in the home was decorated well, and functioned well for 2 people who like to save a bit and do breakfast in the house and have some leftovers around after eating out. The location was close to downtown and we walked practically everywhere in the downtown area from the house. It does sit atop a pretty steep……

“10/10 amazing property to stay at! Ferne and family went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was hassle free having everything available and ready for us to use when we got there. They even offered to start a fire for us while we were out getting dinner. It was extremely windy but the thought was incredibly nice. The vibe was loving and warm and I cannot wait to book another stay at this cottage again!! ”

“The cottage location was just 8 miles from the music venue. It was located on a property historic local renown.It was quiet and secluded, surrounded by wide lawns and forest. Deer walked by each morning. Our hosts were readily available for any concerns of ours, but left us to ourselves as we explored the property with their invitation.All in all, a very nice place to stay.”

“Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean and space is great for a group. We had all kitchen items needed for Thanksgiving. Loved the horses next door.”
