“Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. Highly recommend this place when you’re passing through Shrewsbury UK. Robert ”

“Staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and spotless, nice bed slept well. Had evening meal at hotel and it was first class, nice atmosphere in the bar and whilst dining. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.”

“Very good value! Large room in historic pub. Building is full of character with wonky beams and creaky floor boards, and our room had an incredible four poster bed. Everything was clean and linens were all good quality. Bathroom could use some minor retouching but was perfectly acceptable. We stayed in the peak of summer (30 degree days) and did find it was very hot and there was no fan in the room. Trade off between having the windows open to help cool off which also let in a fair amount of……
