“Very nice home for large groups or families. Having three legit master bedrooms was a very nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and kitchen gadgets. Hot tub and bbq worked great. Two minor critiques: the downstairs to upstairs is a loft-type design so noise carries, and pool access was in the listing but not actually available for short term guests according to the pool staff. Even if there is a work-around for the pool passes, the pool/resort fee is 24/person - not viable for a large……

“The house was a perfect way to show East coast relatives California. The space easily accommodated 7 adults (3 couples 1 and a 1-year old. The kitchen was spectacular - made it easy to prepare meals. Hosts graciously allowed us to use paddle boards and kayaks. We had a terrific time.”

“My husband and I visit the Truckee/Tahoe area often and this has been our favorite house to stay in. Great home. Everything is very clean and cozy. Hot tub is great. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“We were looking for some R&R near Donner with our adult children & Golden Retriever. This was perfect for us - quiet and welcoming neighborhood, cozy but roomy cabin, walk to marina to rent kayaks, kick-back pub (The Pub) and a surprisingly well-stocked grocery store (good wine and cheese selection)! Cabin was homey and very clean, it had 3 comfy king-sized beds, super-important for our tall family - nice linens, toiletries, plenty of cooking utensils and basics. Loved the outdoor spaces for……

“This house is great because it’s not too expensive, it’s little but it has everything you need and feels spacious and open. Plenty of beds. 1 twin 1 full 1 queen 1 king and 2 generous couch options If you need a place in Truckee, it’s a smart option.”

“Thank you for having us. We enjoyed the house and the roomy place. House is very nice with large living space, especially the front porch is great. Noise from the highway is louder than expected - sound seems to travel up the mountain :-) Cleanliness of the place was so-so, nothing super gross, but could use a deep clean once in a while, to get rid of the dust bunnies under the bed, hair plugging the sink in the upstairs bathroom (now removed by thoughtful tenant (me lol)), and the upstairs……
