“Great location, very clean and comfortable, breakfast has good choices. Just know that there is no fridge in the room, but there is a good ice machine in the lobby. Would definitely stay again.”

“The lobby area and public areas of the hotel have been beautifully restored in this historic Frank Lloyd Wright hotel. Difficult to find a meal on Sunday since the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday as were most places nearby. Fortunately the Thai Bistro was open 2 blocks away and was excellent. The room was generally comfortable but needs to have some simple amenities to make it more practical. There was no luggage rack making it difficult to retrieve items from luggage. I asked at the……

“We stayed at the Garner Inn & Suites after a concert at the Surf Ballroom in nearby Clear Lake. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive from Clear Lake, super easy, just down the highway. The Garner Inn is very comfortable and well appointed, actually nicer than you might expect to find in a small town. The breakfast included hot items like sausage and omelets, in addition to the expected items like a waffle machine and muffins and yogurt. Staff was very friendly.”

They have taken so much pride into creating a quaint little getaway and go the extra mile to make their guests comfortable and their stay personalized. Judy met us as we pulled in and personally showed us around the grounds and to our room. They asked us when we would like breakfast delivered and gave us options on where we would like to eat.
