“Excellent service. ”

“All good, the only let down was no internet, and as a working stay , no work could be done, But that was the only down side. My evening meal and breakfast were excellent.”

“Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time. ”

“Really nice pub, convenient for Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills. Winter weekend break for us, nice big clean quiet room, comfy bed, plenty of space and large bathroom. All the staff very friendly and efficient, had a nice meal there - steak well cooked - and the breakfast was tasty, good quality ingredients and served quickly and with a smile. The bar area was nice, log fire burning and lots of locals in there. One negative was the water temp in the shower - I imagine as it’s an old……

Comfortable and warm beds in a beautiful place (we stayed in the stable cottage) with everything thought of - we had tea and home made flapjack waiting for us in the room and more breakfast than we really needed but it was so delicious! Thank you Chris and Nikki”

“It was clean and tidy to expectations for pub accommodation. Large freshly carpeted room. Bathroom recently renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The burgers were as advertised one of the best I've had. The village is delightful.”

“Spent a pleasant night with my wife at The Talbot Hotel and we were well looked after by Craig and his colleagues. The hotel dates back to the 1600s and is very atmospheric and full of history. Although no evening meal was available the full English breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would stay again.”

“My only critism is that it was not easy to find. I was hoping to arrive in daylight but had hold ups on the motorway so it was pitch black and although Tom Tom got me to the right place there was no indication that told me where the farm house was. A few lables for the B&B would help. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay”
