“The hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!”

“An excellent experience, the room was quiet and the windows opened fully to let in fresh air on a warm evening The staff were welcoming and friendly. “The hotel is situated a short walk outside of Ludlow, about 10 minutes walk from the castle and over a stone bridge. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. My room had a view of the castle. A good breakfast was included in the price. The hotel has a bar which was open in the afternoon. There was no lift in the hotel, which is a problem with heavy luggage as I was on the 2nd floor.”

“The service and condition of the hotel are very good. Except there was black stain (looks like mold stain) and yellow dots on the towel. It is totally unacceptable in such a high ranking hotel. ”

“Hotel is an easy 15 mins walk away from the town centre or bus stops outside. Staff pleasant and very helpful. The room was large and clean but in need of an update. Easy parking in the hotel's car park. Breakfast is reasonably price but finishes very early at 8.30. Good cooked breakfast but other choices are limited.”

“Lovely quiet arra to rest durung business trips, but paying for additional room space wasnt worth it as i had trouble getting in and out the shower due to the door being tight to the toilet. The restaurant also seems to have gone down hill and i was served almost burnt and greasy chips with my gluten free meal”
