“Skipton Lodge was absolutely spotless. Clearly newly refurbished it was modern and had everything one could need. It was nice to walk into a warm house, and we felt very comfortable there.”

“Great weekend in a beautiful place, plenty of space for us all to be and each bedroom very comfortable. Easy access for taking a walk on the cliffs to saltburn which a few of the group attempted! All in all a great property that was clean and spacious and good for large groups.”

“Does the job if you just need a place to sleep in the area but it needs some TLC and the garden is over grown, not sure if the heating is working. I'd hace still rated it as average as lomg as your not taking the family on holiday but communication feom the host was dreadful. I shluld have tp asl a half dozen times for access info, its not necessary and it adds to the stress. No one wants to make a three hour drive without knowing they will be able to get in when they get there ”

“We didn’t stay in this property ,it was booked for the first night ,in error by your company. The alternate cottage was nearby , still being renovated. Internet didn’t work (got fixed) shower didn’t work & was unable to be fixed . The bathroom area still needs work ”

“A well presented and equipped property which made for a very comfortable stay. Always was a parking space directly outside the property. Spoke to a lot of the locals while out walking the dog who were all very friendly. There's a community park around the corner which is ideal for walking a dog. Chip shop also around the corner although it had odd opening hours so work checking. Close to Saltburn, Staithes and Whitby so ideal for exploring the local area. Recommended.”
