“Absolutely brilliant cottage. All new fixtures and fittings with everything you could need for your stay. The drains smell came and went- not sure where it came from and it didn’t really bother us. Location fantastic for walks along the coast and short drive to other coastal towns. Would recommend”

“The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.”

“We were attending a wedding in Guisborough and the owner very kindly let us leave our bags at the property before check in time. The place was ideally located in the centre and was lovely and clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would definately recommend this property. ”

“Nice views of harbour from front windows. House had a musty smell and was showing its age. Bit of water damage one the ceiling of one of the bedrooms was a bit off putting. Owner was helpful with questions. ”

“Great atmospheric cottage in a fantastic location, next to the pub, lovely shops and restaurants and a stones through from the beach and harbour. There is no garden or outside as such but we loved sitting out on the street and watching the world go by (this might need to be considered if taking pets, but ours loved it) Excellent communication and a lovely bottle of wine on arrival - thank you!”
