“This property is amazing. Let me count the ways:1. Location!! You can’t do better whether you are in D.C. for business, at Georgetown for University based needs or at George Washington. “It's a nice place for a big group to crash for a few days. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and pots/pans -- everything we needed. Adequate number of bathrooms for everyone. Short drives to many nice places and to the metro station. Check-out is very simple and appreciated. Owner was always available and proactive on making sure our stay was comfortable. A few no-big-deal oddities: Decaf was the only Keurig coffee option. Garbage disposal failed. No shampoo (but……

“This house was the perfect house for our visit to the DC area to have a memorial for my mother. We were an extended family group whose ages ranged from 95 to 25 with one toddler. After visiting Arlington National Cemetery we were able to have a home cooked family dinner at the rather impressive large table with all of my Mom's favorite foods as well as presenting a slideshow on one of the large flat panel TVs. “We had a fantastic stay in Old Town Alexandria! The rental was spotless, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located just a short walk to shops, waterfront restaurants, and historic sites. The host Renée was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in seamless and the entire experience stress-free. It truly felt like a comfortable home away from home.
