“The house was incredible. It has a nice open layout but also a couple separate activity areas indoors and additional areas outdoors if needed. The property was well maintained and comfortably heated during our stay. Just note that all of the bedrooms are on the second floor. ”

Front and rear patios, and a grill. It isn’t a place to stay if you want to a nearby event or shopping. It is right in the middle of the local vineyard community and has a very quiet, rural feel to it. Drive 20 minutes or so and you are in Paso Robles. ”

I set the thermostat to 72 and waited about and hour and the temp had gone down to 60. Sent Allen a message through the app, not expecting a response due to how late it was. Looked around the house and there……

“My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this lovely ranch house in the Panoche Valley. I’ve always felt this area was the last piece of the old west, complete with cattle, tumbleweeds, roadrunners, and ravens. When you get away here, you really do get away from it all.. We definitely could have stayed longer. The house was very comfortable and my son liked the loft, though I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children since there isn’t a railing. Best sunsets ever and just a great place to……

“We came for the dark skies and we weren't disappointed. It is a great place for astrophotography-- but beware of the wind. The bunk house is fantastic. It is quite roomy, everything is brand new, and it has lots of great amenities. There is an outside patio with a fire pit and barbecue stations. Communication with the owner is easy and straightforward. Make sure to bring everything you will need as this place is pretty far from shops/gas stations etc.”
