“The facilities needed to be renew, toilet seat was not fit to the toilet bowl, bed was too soft for me. We can hear people talking downstairs or walking outside. That's fine to stay 1 night.”

“Good: The room is big relative to its price. The bed is comfortable. The price is cheap. Bad: The key doesn't function well and it is hard to open the door. There is no fan or air conditioner. The area is unsafe. Toilet is smelly when I move in and I have to wash myself. There is no house keeping. It is also a pub so it is noisy at night. It closes at 11pm on weekdays but not sure about weekend. It is better to check yourself if you want to live on weekend.”

“Blue Piano is a wonderful place to stay in Birmingham and I would personally recommend it to anybody who is considering a trip to Birmingham! The staff are hospitable, accomodating and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.”

“During our stay (6 days) in Birmingham, the weather was freezing, around 0 degree and minor in evening time. However, the heating system of the Hotel was down for 4 days. When we reported to the reception, they had promised to follow but in vain. Then, different reception staff told us different reasons why their heating system was down. It is quite unacceptable. Fortunately, in the last 2 days, one of the night staff provided a portable heater to us. No apology was received from the hotel so……

“Bad: The drawer and the kettle are not clean...should be improved more. Good: 1. Breakfast is very good and the chef is nice. 2. Bathroom is clean and tidy.”

“The breakfast was lovely and the areas special with the views. The staff were all smiley friendly and helpful. The rooms were good spec but the carpets had lots of marks and spills on it. The room was incredibly hot and the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. There were some fans in the room which helped a little but not much through the night. No one mentioned that there was a problem. Very good site in the centre of Birmingham and worked for us. ”
